Well, I had never even HEARD of the Elf on the Shelf until a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what the gist is. However, the kids I babysit do something with it and one of them screamed and just about fainted when I went to touch their elf. So...I'm not a fan of tricking children about anything. I like games, I like creative fun....as long as everyone knows it's PRETEND.
That is just too much work lol .. .... but my kids think it’s just creepy 😂
No need. I want the children to be their best at all times without the motivation of things like Santa and elves. We practice god behaviors because of who we are.. not what we want out of it.
