Holiday meltdowns: How do you help your child express their emotions in a healthy way?

Best thing is to prevent meltdowns by avoiding over scheduling. When not possible, try to find a quiet place for them to rest and regroup.

I try to structure the day with downtime so my little one has some free time to relax ,play,read a book so he does not become so overwhelmed.
