Picking up groceries and supplies for elderly and shut in’s.
A neighbor started a thread on Nextdoor.com, for neighbors who are high risk to post if they need something picked up (groceries, prescriptions, etc.), so neighbors who are low risk can volunteer to pick it up for them.
1. The woman I babysit for, now has to teach her own children. She's asked for some ideas to problem solve. I actually had the ANSWERS!!!! And I was able to share some of my old curriculum with her. I was so grateful to relieve some of her stress, that I had once experienced, but didn't then know how to solve it. Yea ME! 2. I just discovered that a pro-life organization uses volunteers to write loving letters to abortion clinic workers. Or you can send them stamps so they can cut costs. Love these ideas!
