We just want the best for our children!
Homeschooling is a skill set. It's ridiculous to say you could never do that. Of course you could if you valued it enough to learn the skills! I don't know how to be a nurse, but I could learn if I wanted to. Every parent needs to ask themselves what is best for their children and best for their family and then find a way to make that work, whatever the answer is. You are not powerless in a system, you have a choice. Saying you could never do that is making excuses for yourself to skip the challenge. We can do far more than we imagine.
That my kids aren’t “odd” because they are homeschooled and they aren’t lacking in social skills. And that we can do more in a half day than they ever learned in public schools.
