Try to stop.it
When anyone starts an argument we stop what we're doing and all my children sit in a circle holding hands until they are smiling and laughing at each other. We then talk about what happened and what we could have done to avoid the argument or to not have been as rude about it. Then we say something nice that we like about each other. This technique has seemed to work it great! If the conflict is with my teaching method and their frustration we take a five minute break and let them explain why they are upset and find ways around it for better teaching methods that they can understand.
Confront it. In a kind and loving way. Respect is a major key. Dont avoid it..its like a tribble....multiply quickly, then drown you with the weight alone.
