Reading the choices, I think the neighbor I've never met should be who I pick. Because while all of the above are our neighbors, certainly like Jesus said we should take care of our own families first, I think it's logical that when taking care of neighbors, we should take care of our near neighbor's first. But honestly, of the 4, my mail delivery person is the only person I have given a token of appreciation to...mainly because s/he comes right to my door, so it's easy to do. Of course, I do tip my server at restaurants, but I assume the question referred to giving something beyond the customary tip.
In 2018 we had to call 911 and have a first-responder come and help pick up my father because he fell. They would come in help him up and back into bed. He had dementia and the body just wasn't working like it used to because the brain was going, I guess. But they were super nice and always glad to help us, never like "oh you guys again." One time we asked them, is there a number of someone else we should call when this happens again, because we had to call them 3 times in one week, they said "nope, that is what we are here for." It was really one of the nicest things to hear at that moment.
