We have a “routine” during school months (we take the summer OFF.) But the summers are a literal free for all!!
Our schedule is fairly much set in stone since we have therapies three days a week plus various doctors' appointments, errands do in town (we live in the country) as well as schooling, housework and general life.
I have a loose idea of what needs to be accomplished, but no set time to accomplish it in. It is hard to plan how long something "should" taken, and when I try the ideal doesn't meet the reality. So it's better to just taken things as they come and work them in order, not worrying about time.
