I don't homeschool when relatives visit. Their visiting is a good time to take time off.
I am glad that is what works for y’all. We have found this is what works for us. ... I give one or both answers when and where needed. I try to not say blah blah when blah is enough. Keeping it simple while walking away. Giving less discussion unless they truly want to understand why we do what we do, then I’ll explain.
I let them know we will be homeschooling from 11am to 1:30pm so they can either make other plans during that time or help out. We have light homeschooling days when relatives are in town, but it’s still important to our schedule to stay on track.
