I need help understanding FL state laws. I would like to know if the date of my letter of intent can be changed. The date we need to submit the annual evaluation on (January) is not working for our family and would like to change it. Is ot possible? Can someone advise?

Hello, today is day 2 of homeschooling my 3rd grade son. this is our first year of homeschooling. I'm honestly completely at a loss for ideas. He is in the mind set that the sooner we get things done the faster he can do whatever he wants to do. I tried to explain to him that we need so many hours a day. and its the same as if he were in public school. I asked him "would you rush your teachers, and if you did rush do you get to come home and do whatever you want. I really was looking forward to this experience for both my son and myself. And I know its only day two so were both pretty new to this... and overwhelmed by it all.. but I'm willing to take any advice I can get. Thank you!
